Well, I suppose I could get there...
I noticed the 13.00 performance is Becoming Jane, a fictionalised biography of Jane Austin. As I'd rather have my fingernails pulled out with pliers than sit through that, and I'm not really all that keen on the pliers option either, can we say we'll see the 15.45 Hot Fuzz?

Wow. There is more and more people coming. Well if you need to contact me, if you are lost or thinking where the hell is that Mampers on Saturday, my number is 07906 943 195. And yes we can see Hot Fuzz, though I have seen it before and I am not too interested in Jane Austen and her life. But democracy will see how it will go.

I'm all for democracy in principle, but I'm not going to watch Becoming Jane regardless. 
If that's what other people want to see then fine, I'll meet up with you guys after the film, so pls let's decide in advance.

| Dont worry Whippersnapper, I am totally siding on Hot Fuzz, though I have seen it before. I just wanna make sure whether it is as funny as I remember it. So dont worry, I am up for watching Hot Fuzz. What about you guys? |

Well The UK FWFR meeting was a success, though the weather was troublesome at least. I got to meet Messers Chris C, Rovark and Whippersnapper and we went to a pub and talked about films and FWFR for a while. Drinks were drunk and then we decided we needed to see a movie. Since none of us were too particular about the Jane Austen movie, Becoming Jane and Hot Fuzz was shown later, we decided that the Seventh Seal would be the best option. None of us have seen it, excluding Whippersnapper who has seen it and warn us that it is not a happy go lucky movie. He was not wrong. It was a grim bleak movie about death and philosophy and life. Not a movie that should be taken lightly. However it is a movie that I kind of always wanted to watch, in terms that it is seen as a classic movie. We decided that is a very depressing movie. So that was the end of the UK meeting of 2007, however there is a possibility of another one soon. Sorry if it is a bit on the small side, but I am sure the other guys can add meat to this skeleton of a story.

Bife got rained off - apparently due to heavy rain he couldn't get from Cheltenham to London. We're hoping this means he's going to pay for our air tickets and hotels to Singapore later this year!
