As I said before, try looking in other places.

UNCLE!

I've googled you left, right and center and I cannot figure this one out to save my life, so I'm gonna have to give up. If someone else can discover the third film where the director also starred in the film, they can have the full 40 votes.

I'd hate to deprive you of these hard-earned votes so here's a hintlet:
try a different imdb page ... I assure you, it's there!
PS I was only in ONE version of The Naked Witch ... but that's not the director-y challenge. If ya still feel like pursuing the matter.

Okay, here's my last shot - the only other thing I can find is that Robert Blake directed himself in the episode of "Baretta" that you were in.

I think it's Reds with Warren Beatty.

Bravo! I think you've got it.

Bafta, the 40 votes rightfully belong to Sal.

(I tried, but I failed. My bad!)

Don't be silly! You should definitely have them. I think B.B. has probably seen most of my reviews, so there is no point in her looking at them again.

The decision is, in the end, Bafta's to make. In any case, now that this mystery has been solved, I'm going to go over to her pages and give her some votes for asking such difficult questions, and reward her for a full year of FWFR-ing!

Well you two have come up trumps! WELL DONE!

As soon as someone wins the Curry Dip, I'll award CL her 40 votes, and drop a few extra on Sal -- and maybe CL will share some of her bounty with Sal, too.

It's nice on FWFR when everyone spreads the lurve

who will also get a 5 vote bonus for spotting the deliberate mistake, and Sal will also get a 5 vote bonus for helping her. And ya cahn't say fairer than that, missus!

You are TOO kind!

(And that was fun, so thanks, as well!)

Don't know about the T.V. one-off.

I'm trying to work out what kind of T.V. one-off would not be a T.V. film. Is it a non-acting appearance?!

It was a single tv play ... remember all those one-off dramas we used to have that weren't genres or other thrillers? Are you old enough to remember Armchair Theatre ... and there were a whole bunch of others. Denis Potter had many. So did Pinter.
I played Tim's tap-dancing girlfriend.

Oh, O.K. That will count as either a T.V. film or a part of a series on the I.M.D.B. I had already looked for a Play for Today for you on Google, but not found one.

Excellent idea. Consider that "lurve" liberally spread on Sal's lowest page (of those I hadn't already voted for, that is)!

I am more than happy with those votes (i.e. focused on my newest reviews), so B.B. does not need to look as well (although she may have already done so as I think some of them have gained two votes). You had both already visited my pages more than generously, so I wouldn't want you to try to vote on ones that hadn't tickled your fancy when you saw them then.

By the way, B.B., you've had an amazing and glamorous life - and you're even an author too!

Shiv, I thought you might have solved the Curry one overnight. No luck?

I think so, but I'm still waiting to see if anyone else posts it
