No, my daughter does though.

I love his use of the Appalachian dulcimer in many of his songs.

As a musician, Mullins was primarily a pianist, but he showed a prodigious talent for unusual instruments. He was an expert player of the hammered dulcimer, lap dulcimer and the Irish tin whistle. Examples of this can be heard in Mullins' songs "Calling Out Your Name," "Creed," "Boy Like Me/Man Like You" and "The Color Green."

Well your "important message" gave me the feeling that once I looked at the page, I had to add you! So I did.

My space (my myspace?) is rather empty, though...this will make you only my second friend. I don't use myspace very much...30 year old guys on myspace always get looked at suspiciously.

The first part of that message is actually aimed towards a very specific audience. In high school I was attacked and sexually assaulted by seven male classmates. Most are on myspace and I am hesitant to email them telling them I forgive them so in case they ever run across my page, I wanted them to know.

The second part is because you never know when you've been a jerk and someone is easily offendable. :)

Sorry if that is TMI. I have a bad habit of speaking first and thinking second.

I have to say it is very brave of you and kind to show such forgiveness - you're an inspiration!

Oh, sweetie, how horrible! I know those are the kind of things that never leave you. There really are no adequate words ... but from an ocean away I send a giant hug.

It's wonderful that you've been able to rebuild your life.
xx

Thanks. It's been really hard. I had PTSD and with that came a lot of physical ailments that I still struggle with to this day but things have been so much clearer and better since I let it go as much as I could and just forgave them.

I haven't felt very brave! I do hope though that someday I can share my experiences with others who have gone through something similar and help them see how freeing it can be to forgive. I always thought I'd never forget or forgive but I'm slowly starting to do both. Details are leaving me and sometimes I can't even remember how many guys actually assaulted me and how many were just standing by watching. I'm thankful that I no longer remember every detail. I think that came with the forgiveness and if I could help someone else forget a lot and forgive a little, I'd be happy. :)
