| My Cardiff born father-in-law introduced me to the saying "colder than a witch's tit". I kind of like the idea, but then again, I'm not a Wiccan, so I'm not sure how insulting that phrase really is. |

Can't wait for THanksgiving.
Which reminds me of a saying that my GRandmother once told me that combines some countries
Iran, because I am Hungary for some Turkey fried in Greece on some China. |

More on brass monkeys here.

| I just found out that my vegetarian father-in-law won't be in town next week. That means: I can bake a turkey this year! |

Don't be silly.
(Chocolate Mousse cake for dessert, however.)

Well - you could do Mole Poblano - an unusual but thoroughly delicious very popular dish in Mexico -- which is turkey cooked and smothered in a chocolate-chili sauce. Before you wince - it really is wonderful, you can also do it with chicken -- and don't forget, long before we associated chocs with sweet-stuff, it was a very dependable savoury ingredient!
Here's a slightly different method.
So chocolate turkey -- not so silly, after all
