Nothing of the kind. He's British.

But a couple of years ago when I went to buy some turkey for Thanksgiving, the guys behind the counter asked me about the holiday. They were Arabs and were wondering if I was Jewish, if I wanted to honour this particular holiday. I explained to them that it wasn't a religious holiday, but rather a national one. They had a bit of a hard time with understanding that, since the closest thing we have here in Israel is our Independence Day.
