Okay... had a go on this 1am Sunday morning (following a pub crawl). First thing I have to say is: 1!!! You have to pay to go on this supposed art installation. Naturally, the first thing we did was ask the Brooklynites how much they were paying: nothing! Good old UK Government taxing us on everything they possibly can...
Still, it was a good laugh- at that hour, it was just myself, a mate and a couple of drunk blokes wearing the London Tube map as a sash (there was a massive booze up on the Tube Saturday night) so we got as long as we wanted. Once the drunks had got the obligatory jokes/ slightly xenophobic comments out the way, we got around to asking hard hitting questions such as "What's happening in 'Lost'?" and "How much for the women?" (didn't go down too well that one). We were asked "Is it raining there?" and "Why are you still out at 3am?". The high point was either a game of Noughts & Crosses/ TacTacToe (which we may or may not have cheated at) or a dance-off which just ended in embarrassment. |

Actually it sounds amazing! I can just see it as an inciting incident for a film plot!! Forget Sleepless in Seattle - wot about Brief Encounter Brooklyn to Brighton?
Or - new kinda SF -- one end of 'scope in "our world" but the other in parallel universe!
Or harmless funseekers inadvertently witness a murder -- update of Blowup. [you can get a part as a harmless funseeker, benj!]
