I'll be passing through London on thursday 11 sept, anyone who would like to join me in terminal 2 for a coffee between flights is welcome to.


But seriously how's that weekend for people at a first pitch

Fri 12th, Sat 13th, Sun 14th.

Asian conference in singapore, Harry's Bar in boat Quay, this weekend, me and, um, well, me, I guess.

I seem to remember boydegg and face being thailand-based, shame they've gone even more awol than me

Seriously, I WILL get to meet a fellow fwfrer one day. Just maybe not anytime soon

My current tally is three- Bafta Babe, BiggerBoat and recently the mighty Benj. Basically all the "B's".

So I'll be hoping to notch another "b" and extend my alphabet in September - just send on the details... I should be about.

VENUE RESEARCH
These are within Terminal Two:

Budget

Boots, 06:00 - 22:00, sell a limited range of pre-packed sandwiches, salads and bottled drinks at a very good price. Located in departures, both before and after security.

Costa, 24 hours, serves fresh coffee, tea, hot drinks, sandwiches and pastries. Located in departures, before security.

Wetherspoons, 05:00 until last flight, serves a wide range of hot and cold pub food at a fair price (for London) as well as a large selection of beers and other alcoholic drinks. A traditional cooked English breakfast costs around �6 and will keep you going for most of the day. Family friendly. Located before and after security.

Mid Range

Pizza Express, 05:30 - 22:00, serves a good range of decent, but quite expensive pizzas and italian dishes. Located in the departures area, before security.

Caffe Nero, 05:30 until last flight, serves fresh coffee, tea, hot drinks and italian style sandwiches and pastries. Located both before and after security.

Splurge

Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar, 07:00 - 21:00, serves caviar, smoked salmon and seafood. Located after security. Which rules it out

I'd love to have a beer Sept 1 to Sept 11 sounds like more than a 'stopover' between destinations - I didn't know people came here for more than a stopover!
