| As I mentioned in the latest round of FYCTH, I'm going on vacation on Friday. My husband and I will be going first to visit his sister in Arnheim and then on December 3 will be landing in London in the afternoon. I've already contacted Whippersnapper and that evening is good for him, so if anyone else in London or the surrounding areas would like to join us, that would be wonderful. We're staying at the Express by Holiday Inn in Stanford so any suggestions as to where we could meet would be appreciated. |

I used to enjoy this fourum, it was the most welcoming, friendly, constructive and intelligent forum I'd found anywhere on the web.
Now it is excessively focused on the personal gathering of votes, sal vs whipper battles and bitching about declines  I remember when I were a lad ... |

Have to agree with Bife; Sal's comment wasn't necessary, and the Fourum used to be a lot more fun without the tiresome sniping. 
I will however probably be free and delighted to attend all being well with my oft-changing schedules. |

You are a mean and cruel person, you are! But I'm not in for just one day. I'm arriving on the 3rd and we leave on the 6th. We've got tickets to see "Wicked" on the 4th and I think we're going to my husband's Aunt on the 5th in the afternoon, but might be free that evening or even the morning of the 6th will also work. My husband comes back from Hong Kong today so I'll let you know more tomorrow.

Personally I take no offence whatsoever at Salopian's comment. I think its a very sensible point of view. Of course he didnt have to say it, but, frankly, do I look bovvered?

Hmm - this is all adding to my fantasy-island theory that Whipper and Sal are the same person. 
Well - no one's ever seen them in the same room = have they?!!!

I'm in London on the 5th if that is still a possibility. I'm on a training course near Covent Garden during the day but could be free in the evening (the alternative is to get on the 1745 from Euston, so it's not much of an alternative). I'll make a note to ring the hotel if all goes to plan.
PS if Whipper is able to be in the same room that's fine by me - provided he brings some of his witticisms with him and they're house-trained. |

I think we're going to be in Sutton during the day - lunch with my husband's Aunt - but I think the evening is still free. Let's be in touch and if anyone else would like to try for that evening, that would be great!

Well, our dance card is quickly filling up here! We're meeting whip and demonic for dinner/drinks and some kind of new musical (movie?) on the evening of the 3rd, lunch on the 4th is with someone from another site we know (Sal, I'd say this would be a great time for you to meet us but you might think I'm setting you up on a blind date) in the Regent Park area and then we're seeing "Wicked" that evening, lunch on the 5th is with my husband's aunt in Sutton and that evening we're meeting up with Koli. Let me know if anyone wants to join in on any of these meetings.

Hello peeps
I may well be around and available on said evening. Obviously I will be requesting that the seating order during dinner is dictated by how much I like the other people present with my favourites being closer to me and those I'm less fond of further away. Unless you think that's petty??
I assume we're meeting in the centre of town? I'll be working that day and finishing at about 6ish so I can head down afterwards.
