If he's a proper Catholic, then any divorce lawyer would offend him.
It's strange that the article cites The Passion of the Christ and his drink-driving as his most controversial moments of recent years. (I guess the arrest for the latter was when the anti-Semitic tirade occurred, but it's still odd not to mention it directly.)
I was going to say that it was stingy of him to want to avoid child support, but as she has requested only joint custody then that is in fact fair. |

Correction: the support payments at issue are alimony payments (i.e., spousal support), not child support. So don't go unfairly calling this anti-semitic drunkard a child-support cheapskate!  |

Only one of them is now under eighteen, so I'm guessing she liked him more in the first decade.
It's interesting that so many people's view of him changed once his anti-Semitism slipped out. He was publicly just as homophobic for a very long time before that. |
