Was wondering if there will be a possible FWFR UK meeting this year? Is anyone doing anything like that this summer as such?

Possibly... possibly...
Although we were thinking about some holiday in Ireland. Still, we might need to stop over in the UK.
(Very possibly.)

| I'm available most times now. In Amsterdam soon and Italy during the Easter, possibly a few more sidetracks along the way, but I'll definately do my best to make it this time. |

Not that I could even in my wildest dreams afford to visit the UK, though my heart would love it, I'm no longer allowed to fly due to the eye bleeding thing. One of the most wondrous and amazing things that comes from writing on an international site is the frequent reference to travelling to all of those nations I would love give my eye teeth to visit. And as readily said as if I were to say "going to Ohio for the weekend." Amsterdam... Ireland... Greece... Rome... |

I am not planning to organise the FWFR meeting, coz I am shite at doing that. However if someone else is doing a UK FWFR meeting, I will get it. Basically I am a follower and not a leader. But you never know to be honest. I could sort something out.

Well I was thinking London, since it is kinda close to me. But that is pretty selfish on my behalf, since I dont live too far from there and also people from Ireland, such as yourself Beanimo and Paddy C, would not be able to come.

London's always good for me, any time except the last week of June/ first week July when I'll be holidaying. Weather permitting, Leicester Square's always a good starting point to meet up.
The best time would probably be when any non-Brits happen to be over here |

I agree! It was a real shame we missed CL last summer.

No promises, but we will do our best to rectify that this time - especially if there are volunteers to put my husband and myself up. If we go, it would be the end of August since we might stop in the UK on the way to New York for a good friend's daughter's Bat Mitzvah the first Saturday in September.

If anything is arranged, drop me a line. I'll bring my frisbee and bother you all immensely. |

The porcelain room in the Victoria & Albert Museum it is then.
I'm game. Any time except mid-August when I'll be away with the family. |

My lifestyle dictates I have no idea when I'm free or not too far in advance - but if I can, I most certainly will. |

I'll try to attend, as long as that arrogant, name-dropping cow BaftaBabe isn't there.
