Hey I have got a great idea. If we are doing the London meet, and it looks more and more like that we are, why dont we do it on a weekend, for obvious reasons? Preferably in London, so we can get a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). But the main thing to do is to catch a movie, whether good or bad and just have a discussion about it. Probably in the Prince Charles or one of the bigger and therefore more expensive Lecister Sq cinemas. I mean it would be an ideal place to meet up. We all love movies and such and i am sure we will all see how all our creative minds work in doing the old FWFRing.

Having the meet over the weekend and going to a movie together (one, at least) sounds like an excellent idea no matter where it takes place in the UK.
(My husband and I are still looking at being in the UK August 24-25-26, if that matters.)

Here is one of the cinemas which is pretty cheap to go in and see a movie, plus it shows some classics and recent art house movies, rather than big old block busters

Yup, it's phenomenally cheap. Even their annual membership is really cheap (9). If you can get there during the day, you break even after only three films. |

| Goddamn, I miised this thread. BiggerBoat is currently moored in North London and could make his way down into the centre for a day of merriment sometime this summer. Why is he talking about himself in the third person? Only he can answer that... |

Ok people from U.K and those outside, looks like this London trip is gonna be on its way. So everyone email me your available dates and I can see what I can do. Hopefully summertime weekends preferably, since majority of us are working.
Here is hoping to see all you crazy peeps in London at some mean time. Also before I forget, I do not want to forget the creator himself, MR Benj. I do hope he can come and I will be giving him an email about it

The best time would probably be when any non-Brits happen to be over here
As per above, 'cos in 5 weeks I'm off to sunny Spain. Before then or after, I'm up for it. |

For me, its looking less likely. If we can swing going to the USA via the UK, then yes. Problem is, we're not sure that we can afford it that way. I'll let you know soon (hopefully).
