Just in case you're seriously considering this... the answer is: sadly not as many as you'd think. I've been ripping my DVD collection onto a 500gb drive on and off for about a month now and it looks like I'll get around 350 films on, but that's with considerably sub-DVD quality  Without skimping on quality, I'd be looking at maybe 100 films (assuming no Titanics or Das Boots). |
